In school, I enjoyed math, music, economics, English – you name it. I struggled, however, to commit to one path. I enjoy architecture because it allows me to use all of the skills that I have developed to create something artistic and meaningful. I’m able to work collaboratively with team members and clients, using the craft of place-making, to improve the experiences of people who interact with the spaces we design.
Despite being told that I remind people of a Wes Anderson film, I feel most myself when I’m spending time with my wife, Kathryn, and our two corgis, Quincy and Willow. I also love traveling, staying active, woodworking, and completing projects on our Tosa bungalow.
