Kylie Arett, a key member of the interior design team, engages in all facets of interior design for our clients. Whether meeting with clients, facilitating user focus groups, making furniture selections, or working on construction documents, she transforms clients’ visions into reality through thoughtful design. Currently, she’s working on projects with our Iowa team – Sudlow Intermediate School (Davenport Community Schools), and St. Joan of Arc Catholic School.

When it was time for Kylie to start thinking about her career, interior design came to mind, “it incorporated all my interests and talents while also being a sustainable career,” she mentioned. Around that same time, her parents were renovating a portion of their home, and she got to be a part of the process, learning the ins and outs.

One of her favorite aspects of her job is building relationships with clients. “I ensure they feel seen and heard, understanding their needs and goals. I meet them where they’re at and guide them to where they want to be,” Kylie said.

In addition to her responsibilities on the interior design team at Bray, Kylie has helped found and co-chair the equality, diversity, inclusion, and belonging (EDIB) group within the firm over the past year. It includes more than 25 dedicated team members and continues to expand. Reflecting on her commitment to inclusivity, she shared, “I’ve always prioritized creating an environment where everyone feels supported and welcome. The EDIB group provides me a meaningful platform to champion this core personal value within my professional sphere.”

Beyond her professional life, Kylie enjoys her new hobby of jewelry making. She also finds joy in activities such as snowboarding and being an active member of a hurling team.
