Joe Frisch is a project coordinator at Bray and works on all phases of design, from predesign through construction documents. He is currently working on Oconomowoc High School as extensive work will be done to the facility.

From an early age, Joe’s passion for architecture was apparent. He remembers attending various architectural camps, specifically one held at Frank Lloyd Wright’s School of Architecture. It broadened his perspective and all the possibilities within the realm of architecture.

Eager to always learn, Joe appreciates the collaborative environment in the office. He shares, “People are very receptive and approachable here, which makes me feel respected and comfortable to ask them questions – you can learn so much from your coworkers. We all have the same goal of designing wonderful facilities for our clients, so helping each other is so important.”

Engaged in the firm’s mentorship program, Joe values the connections he’s formed, and industry knowledge gained. Reflecting on his involvement, he mentions, “My association with the mentorship program has been both positive and beneficial. I’ve had the opportunity to meet industry professionals and participate in unique experiences.”

While Joe enjoys computer-based design and the in-office environment, he equally enjoys attending firm tours at construction sites. “It’s great to see the team’s accomplishments and observe the progress firsthand,” mentioned Joe.

Outside of work, Joe finds joy in digital fabrication and parametric design. Striking a balance between creativity and adventure, Joe also enjoys doing both downhill and cross-country skiing.
