Bray Architects worked with the School District to design the Waukesha North Kitchen renovation, reconfiguring the cafeteria and kitchen/servery space at the High School. The renovation project began with District administrators, School board members, and high school educators participating in a ceremonial wall smashing at the school in June 2018.
The Waukesha North Kitchen renovation included a full remodel of the kitchen/servery and support space to function similar to a food court. The new design features self-serve mobile carts that allow more lunch options to be offered and create more serving lines, optimizing traffic flow and reducing serving time. Portions of the commons/cafeteria area were also remodeled with the removal of a stone wall to open up the space and the replacement of select windows and doors.
