Waukesha North Kitchen Renovation

Bray Architects worked with the School District to design the Waukesha North Kitchen renovation, reconfiguring the cafeteria and kitchen/servery space at the High School. The renovation project began with District administrators, School board members, and high school educators participating in a ceremonial wall smashing at the school in June 2018.

The Waukesha North Kitchen renovation included a full remodel of the kitchen/servery and support space to function similar to a food court. The new design features self-serve mobile carts that allow more lunch options to be offered and create more serving lines, optimizing traffic flow and reducing serving time. Portions of the commons/cafeteria area were also remodeled with the removal of a stone wall to open up the space and the replacement of select windows and doors.

This is one of several projects that Bray has completed with the Waukesha School District. Others include the Waukesha Middle School Improvements and Waukesha South High School Addition + Renovation.
