Sears Diocesan Hall

The design team was challenged with creating an addition to the Sears Diocesan Hall historical 1891 cathedral, while maintaining the aesthetic of the original masonry and liturgical ornamentation. The multi-level addition benefits the congregation and community including many new amenities such as a new gathering space, a great hall, classrooms, and support spaces. The team also added a new entry, kitchen, and restrooms to the original cathedral.

Location: Davenport, IA       Religious Denomination: Catholic       Addition Size: 23,600 square feet
