The West De Pere Intermediate School received a bronze award in the K-12 education category at the 2022 Design Excellence Awards hosted by the Wisconsin Chapter of the American Society of Interior Designers (ASID).

The collaboration areas feature colorful furniture and flooring details with classrooms accessible nearby via large sliding glass doors

Bray’s interior design team infused each learning area of this fifth- and sixth-grade school with engaging details. Colorful, trapezoid-shaped carpeting insets bridge the threshold between classrooms and corridors. Custom ceiling tiles in the learning stair area and cafeteria mimic colorful shape patterns on the floor. This material play introduces lively visuals to provide a consistent design concept throughout all parts of the building.

The school also received recognition from The Daily Reporter, a leading publication of Wisconsin’s construction industry news, as a top project of 2021.

Congratulations to Bray’s interior design team and the entire West De Pere Intermediate School project team for their work on this standout project!
