Home of the Sun Prairie Wolves

The design of the building integrates flexible learning spaces, advanced technology infrastructure, and sustainable elements to create an adaptable and collaborative environment.

Amenities at the school include:

Main gym court with branded bleachers pulled out and garage doors looking into the commons/cafeteria area
Learning commons with flexible furniture and a monitor

Collaboration

Innovative learning communities support the district’s forward-thinking curriculum goals.

Each learning community has both teaching and learning spaces, including:

  • 3 learning studios/classrooms
  • 1 dedicated science lab
  • 1 flexible classroom
  • A collaborative commons + 2 small group spaces
  • Teacher collaboration room and conference space

Twelve learning communities span three floors in the academic wing. They’re designed for transparency and flexibility between spaces and a central commons. The central commons include a technology bar, project area, and flexible furniture with natural light from windows facing the courtyard in the center of the school.

District-Wide Upgrades

athletics and academics

Sun Prairie Area School District partnered with Bray to update other district schools and design a new multi-purpose stadium with upgraded amenities.

The Bank of Sun Prairie Stadium at Ashley Field serves athletes at both high schools in the district, as well as provide opportunities to host more schools and community members.

Upgrades to district schools include renovations to collaboration areas and an addition of a student lounge at East High School, renovations to transition the Library at Central Height Middle School to a like-new Library Media Center, renovations made to the cafeteria and resource area at Prairie Phoenix Academy, and updating the large event space and community/board room at the Professional Learning Center.
