Slinger High School Performing Arts Center

The Performing Arts Center serves the needs of not only the high school and Slinger School District, but also the whole community.

We partnered with the district to pass a referendum for renovations at five of their schools and a new performing arts center at Slinger High School. The new addition includes a lobby, stagecraft, costume shop, dressing rooms, concessions, and other various support spaces.

The auditorium is connected to the existing school by an adjacent addition which houses choir and band rehearsal rooms and other music support areas. Performances benefit from a full fly loft, orchestra pit, and a LED theatrical lighting system.

Referendum

Funding the Project

Taxpayers in the Slinger School District approved a $42 million referendum, part of which was directed to the high school‘s new performing arts center. The remaining amount supported the renovations throughout the high school, as well as building additions and upgrades at the district’s three elementary schools and middle school.
