Gale-Ettrick-Trempealeau Performing Arts Center

Inspired by the area's rolling hills, we designed a new performing arts center to help unite the smaller communities served by this school district in their access to the arts.

Need: Larger auditorium to serve both the district and surrounding communities

Solution: Design a new performing arts center connected to the high school that enhances the theatrical experience

Result: State-of-the-art performing arts center with 21st-Century theatrical elements

A Modern Theatrical Experience

The addition to the Gale-Ettrick-Trempealeau High School includes a 755-seat auditorium, lobby, and back-of-house support spaces. Curved banisters and aisles provide an elegant patron experience, while also benefiting acoustical performance.

The lobby features restrooms, a ticket counter, and ample seating. Full walls of windows let in natural light during the day and shine light into the parking lot for evening performances. Lobby access to the cafeteria allows this multi-purpose space to be used for an additional gathering and concession area.
