Local Industry Partners Help Reimagine the Space

The facility analysis of the existing tech ed spaces at the high school determined the need for more space and an advancement of tools/spaces to better support the tech ed classes that have seen over a 50% increase in student participation. Throughout the process, Seymour Community School District reached out to local industry partners to determine the skills needed for today’s workforce to incorporate those tools into the new spaces.

The addition added auto/small engines lab space with a dedicated classroom and created space within the existing portion of the building to expand woods and metals/welding into separate spaces.
