Since fall 2017, Bray Architects has worked with the Sevastopol School District to study facility needs and develop potential solutions at their combined PreK-12 building.
After a voter-approved referendum, facility improvements will be made to replace aging areas of the building with state-of-the-art facilities. Multiple areas of the existing building will be demolished, including the three-story elementary wing built in 1924 and the technical education addition built in 1946.
The new, two-story Sevastopol School District addition will house a library and classrooms for students in 4K-5th grade, as well as STEAM spaces for middle and high school students. Made possible by a generous donation from a local company, additional scope and equipment for the STEAM wing were added to provide unique spaces that encourage project-based learning.
