The Beloit Turner Middle/High School STEAM project, included an addition and renovations to enhance its science, technology, engineering, arts, and math (STEAM) spaces to expand learning and teaching of its courses. The addition includes art classrooms as well as a metals shop and woodshop, which is connected by a shared high school classroom.
Renovations in the new Beloit Turner Middle/High School STEAM wing include updates and an expansion of dedicated classroom space and an adjoining workshop for middle school students. A new commons/corridor provides a flexible learning space for STEAM students and is easily accessible from the new fab and engineering lab. The former art rooms have also be renovated to expand the school’s weight room and increase storage for athletics.
