In the Heart of the City
In effort to establish a downtown center for the City of Oak Creek, we partnered to design a new City Hall and Public Library in a central town square development.
The shared lobby includes interactive kiosks, a 200-person community room, shared technology to allow for meeting overflow, and four public conference rooms to provide ample community meeting space.
The City Hall’s open-office concept creates a more efficient workflow for all departments, and a one-stop transaction counter supports all service areas and greatly improve the visitor experience.
The Public Library added the latest technology, including an RFID system. Young Adult and Children’s areas offer age-relevant interactive learning opportunities. Other features include garden space, multi-purpose and tutor rooms, and a quiet reading room with fireplace.
