MILWAUKEE, Thursday, June 24, 2021 – Bray Architects announced on Thursday two key new hires and four recent promotions in support of its continued growth as a leading full-service firm in planning, architecture, interior design and community engagement across the Midwest.

Bray recently hired Karina Henderson as its director of marketing and Lisa Maloney as client communication manager.

Henderson, who recently worked for Milwaukee Film and the Milwaukee County Executive’s office, brings a breadth of communications and marketing experience to the role, having served in state and local government, political campaigns, nonprofits and professional sports.

Maloney has a decade of experience in the travel industry, most recently leading a national sales team’s communications efforts and vacation travel brand marketing and engagement. Previously, she built her career in the print industry.

Both Henderson and Maloney will be based out of Bray’s Milwaukee office, a historic building in Walker’s Point that the firm renovated in 2016.

“We’re thrilled to add knowledgeable and trusted leaders like Karina and Lisa to our marketing team,” said Matthew Wolfert, principal and president at Bray Architects. “These are two talented and empathetic individuals who will take our community engagement and marketing efforts to the next level.”

In addition to expanding its marketing department, Bray announced the promotion of several long-tenured members of its leadership team. Ryan Sands and Clint Selle now serve as vice presidents, while Nate Considine and Iowa-based John Mahon have been promoted to delivery team leaders.

“Even as other architecture firms scaled back during the pandemic, Bray continued to expand – which is a testament to the quality of our team and the trust that our clients have in us,” Wolfert said. “We are constantly working to innovate and improve in the services we provide, as well as in the makeup of our team.”

Bray Architects currently has 89 employees, including 76 based in its Walker’s Point office. The firm also has offices in Davenport, Iowa; Moline, Illinois; and Sheboygan, Wisconsin.
