Responding to the Site

The building form closely follows the boundary of the adjacent Pheasant Branch Conservancy. Large, floor-to-ceiling windows play a dual-purpose role by providing stunning views of the landscape and filling the learning spaces with natural light.

Space for Community Use

The three-story wing of the building features an environmental education center for student and community use and allows direct access to the conservancy for research, study, and restoration.
