I knew I wanted to be an architect at eight years old, sitting in the back seat of the family car driving through the streets of Milwaukee. Being surrounded by such vast infrastructure, the sheer number of buildings took my breath away. I just knew. During my career, code analysis became an interest of mine. I find the building code to be a tool that can either help you or hurt you – the better you understand the code, the better the building. My off hours are full of lots of family and fun, even more so with the addition of my son, Max Comstock!
