A dynamic design process, with significant faculty and student engagement, led to the success of this new science building at University of Wisconsin-Platteville at Baraboo. The facility supports program offerings by featuring five new research and teaching labs along with faculty offices, student collaboration spaces, and private research labs. Traditional lab support/storage spaces can also be found throughout.
The highly sustainable Baraboo campus building is built into the site’s sloping topography and located just south of the campus’s main quad of buildings. It features many green features including a geothermal HVAC system and a green/vegetated roof.
