Garden Prairie Intermediate School

In collaboration with the School District of Beloit Turner, Bray Architects conducted a district-wide facilities study evaluating building condition, capacity, and adequacy of educational spaces to identify academic and facility needs. In November 2018, voters approved a referendum allowing the District to address the identified needs by building a new school to serve 2nd-5th grade students and improving STEAM areas at the Beloit Turner Middle/High School.

Garden Prairie Intermediate replaced an aging elementary building, providing a state-of-the-art facility that supports flexible learning. Second grade students that had been housed at Powers Elementary moved to the new school, creating more flexibility for educational curriculum delivery, as well as space for 4-year-old kindergarten programming at Powers.
