Mayville School District partnered with Bray Architects to create a “like-new” high school, which included renovations to the sports and fitness facilities and an extensive renovation of the Mayville High School auditorium. The space outside of the auditorium was also renovated to become a lobby and includes a concession stand and breakout space for people to gather before and after performances.
The 455-seat Mayville High School auditorium was rearranged to enhance the experience for audience members by removing the center aisle and providing double-door access from two locations at the back of the house. Portions of the stage were rebuilt and several rows of removable seats were added to accommodate a pep band. All new rigging, lighting, and sound panels were added to enhance the performance quality and capabilities.
