As part of a District-wide improvement plan, the five school buildings at Greendale School District have received significant improvements to better serve students, staff, and the community by upgrading spaces to meet today’s needs. All schools received updates to safety and security, building efficiency and sustainability, and learning environments.
Safety and security enhancements at Greendale School District range from new secure entries and cameras, to improved site circulation and traffic flow. Building inefficiencies have been addressed with the addition of air-conditioning, LED lighting, and occupancy sensors. Learning environment improvements focused on classrooms and music education areas, while several schools also received classroom additions and renovations to technical education and fine arts areas. Cafeterias and libraries also underwent renovations to create flexible learning spaces for students and teachers.
