Denmark High School

Denmark High School updated its sports and recreation facilities as part of a school-wide addition and renovation project. The new gym features three full-size courts with a competition basketball/volleyball court, and retractable bleachers to accommodate over 1,600 spectators.

The fitness center addition features cardio and weight machines, squat racks, free weights, and artificial turf for indoor cross-training. A wrestling room provides practice and competition space with two full-size wrestling courts and pads.

The lobby addition connects the parking lot to the football field and offers a practice space for the dance team. During athletic events, the lobby offers access to concessions and the officials’ locker room. This space evokes school pride with a monumental trophy case, the Vikings logo, and school colors.
