The Belleville Middle/High School renovation upgraded the school’s existing technical education shop, expanded the existing fitness/weight room, improved school security through a secured office entrance, and converted one of the existing kitchens into a new district office conference room.
To further support the growth of the existing Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) curriculum, a 3,700 square foot addition to the technical education shop expanded the space and features a STEM lab area. A new concessions building with bathrooms was also added for athletic events.
In addition to the main areas of construction at Belleville Middle/High School, facility improvements included lighting and ceiling upgrades, a new ballasted roof, and a renovated ADA-compliant lift to better accommodate students with needs. New monumental signage and exterior way-finding directs visitors to the main entrance.
