Calista Gorell is a Project Coordinator on the pre-design team, working on facilities studies for multiple clients. She loves to see that the work at Bray has an impact on local communities. In grad school, Calista focused on historic preservation and studied abroad in Japan to learn more about the discipline from a multi-cultural perspective.
“I love historic buildings and diving into really old spaces, no matter what the style. I also enjoy minimalist architecture, especially when the contemporary butts up against the historic – it’s completely captivating!”
Her favorite hobbies include lap swimming (a nod to her former days as a synchronized swimmer) and trying her hand at cyanotype printmaking when the light hits her apartment just right.
