Landmark Outlets at Rockford
Rockford, Illinois

This project included programming, master planning and design services for a fifty-plus acre mixed-use development in the Upper Midwest. The site sits along the highly-traveled I-90 corridor connecting Madison, Wisconsin and Rockford, Illinois. The master plan was modeled after a highly-successful factory store development in suburban Chicago.

The development program called for a hybrid lifestyle/power center of more than 348,000 square feet spread across seven buildings. An additional 36,500 square feet of casual and fast casual dining were planned in six buildings. Parking was programmed at 5.12 cars per 1,000 square feet with a total of 1,950 stalls.
