The new 56,000 square foot Design Mart is a high-end home design center located in Fitchburg. Anchor tenants in the retail center include Wisconsin Flooring Center, Isthmus Lighting and Elements of Design. Each retailer maintains a two-story showroom space along the front façade and warehouse space directly behind it at the back of the building. Mezzanines above each showroom provide private offices, conference rooms and toilets for each space.
A reception desk in the front lobby serves as a control point for the building and ensures clients are directed to the correct showroom. The back entrance is designed for builders and includes shared conference rooms, a kitchen/break room, design resource library, public toilet rooms, and other resources to support the residential contractor base in the area.
