A new Athletic, Recreation and Wellness Center will be constructed on campus southwest of the main college building. This facility will include an NCAA-sized basketball court along with two perpendicular courts, lockers, fitness center, training room and some offices.
Additional programmatic spaces include a jogging track encircling the competition gymnasium, racquetball/handball courts, juice bar and reception desk, formal lobby/entrance, aerobics studio, and recreational half-court gymnasium.
Several outdoor athletic and recreation spaces will be provided, such as a volleyball pit and outdoor basketball court(s). In addition to these outdoor spaces, the plan provides for the main pedestrian pathway leading form the south side of the existing main building to the new gymnasium and easy access to the lake. This may include outdoor plazas, gardens, and some sort of built structure at the lake.
