Rome Corners Intermediate School
Oregon School District

The school features shared resource spaces and toilets for each pod, a student commons/cafeteria with stage, an IMC, and a two-station gym. Although now designed to house Grades 5-6, it is designed to be a "neighborhood" K-5 school in the future.

This flexibility was designed into the building by constructing some classroom walls with the intent of being moved into the resource areas when the building becomes a K-5 facility. This will add 300 square feet to several classrooms for use as Kindergarten classrooms. Plumbing, electrical and data services were also roughed-in in anticipation of future needs.
