Marinette County Law Enforcement Center

This new law enforcement center was the result of an existing facilities and operational analysis conducted to determine the feasibility of renovating the County’s existing sheriff’s department and jail.
The result was a new facility on a heavily-wooded site just outside of the city of Marinette. The 49,750 square foot, 166 bed jail includes 64 huber, 64 medium security, 26 maximum security and 12 administrative segregation cells. Intake/processing, food service, laundry, medical, and program areas were designed to accommodate the addition of a 150 bed detention unit in the future.
The 21,380 square foot sheriff’s department includes a vehicle garage/sallyport, eight-station dispatch center, training/conference facility, administrative suite, fitness center with locker rooms, detective offices with interview rooms, and evidence processing and storage.
