Silver Lake College
Manitowoc, Wisconsin

Bray Architects is working with Silver Lake College on a significant campus improvement plan that includes a new Music Education and Performance Center, a new Event Center, and the conversion of Clare Hall from a convent to student residences.

The Music Education and Performance Center is a new academic building to be constructed to the west of the main college building and will house the music department, a multi-purpose performance space to seat up to 600, and a recital hall with seating for 100.

The Event Center is a new athletic, recreation and wellness center to be constructed on campus southwest of the main college building. This facility will include an NCAA-sized basketball court along with two perpendicular courts, locker rooms, fitness center, training room, a jogging track, and racquetball courts.

The Clare Hall renovation will provide approximately 100 beds for freshman. The first three floors will be traditional dorm rooms with double occupancy and community restrooms. Suite style dorms will fill the fourth floor. Lounges, kitchenettes, quiet study, and resident assistant spaces are spread across the four floors.
