Ronald Reagan Elementary School
New Berlin Public Schools
New Berlin Public Schools
This project entailed the merger of New Berlin Center and Prospect Hill elementary schools, into the new Ronald Reagan Elementary School. The design team was challenged with creating a "neighborhood school feeling" while capitalizing on the financial advantages of a larger school.
The two-story, five-track building was designed with a school-within-a-school concept. This includes six "houses", each containing five classrooms, a resource/computer center, five locker bays, restrooms, a house storage room, and a conference/independent study room.
