Creekside Elementary School
Sun Prairie Area School District

A new, two-story, 4-track elementary school located in the Smith's Crossing neighborhood. It is configured around central ‘planning areas' to develop interaction between grade levels. The site is approximately 5 acres of donated land located adjacent to a city park. The building's sustainable features include daylighting and a geothermal HVAC system.

Creekside is the second elementary school designed for the District based on a prototype plan and space program developed by Bray. Each building maintains the original design concepts particular to the different neighborhoods and students they serve. Creekside answers to the transitional Tudor/Craftsman style (predominately Tudor with strong Craftsman influences) as defined by Smith's Crossing neighborhood design guidelines.
