The new, three-story administration building serves as a one-stop service center for various closely-related County services. It houses all departments related to social services, the University of Wisconsin Extension, nursing/aging, land conservation and planning, workforce development, agriculture, and corrections.

The building’s HVAC system integrates ice-storage in which ice is made at night when utility rates are cheaper and utilized during the day to cool the building. Digital controls, light sensors, high-performance glazing, and the significant use of natural light also contribute to the economical operation of this building.
